About  The Alchemicial Interludes 

 

The Alchemical Interludes is a collection of 118 poems written for each element in the periodic table. Created as part of the broader installation, the poems accompany the handcrafted origami books that form the elemental archive within the work.

Each poem follows a measured structure of four lines with eight syllables, responding to the physical and chemical properties of its corresponding element. Fragmented into syllables and sound, the poems introduce small gaps and breaks within the rhythm of language.

 

Inserted into the folded pages of the books, the texts move between language and matter, where meaning emerges in the intervals between sound, form, and element.
